Requirements BS in Manufacturing OR Mechanical Engineering Established SolidWorks & AutoCAD experience Minimum 5 years job experience Strong mechanical aptitude Basic understanding of metal working machines (mills/punches/lathes) Familiarity with designing aluminum extrusions is preferred but not required. Responsibilities Product development including UL standards testing Maintain existing Product Design aluminum extrusions Creating Bills of Material for all assemblies & sub-assemblies Creating 2-D drawings (Auto CAD) for customer review and approval Creating 3-D models and detailed drawings (SolidWorks 2011) of existing products and future products Creating manufacturing drawings & manuals for shop personnel. Work in group setting in which ideas are thrown around for best possible solution. Report to Engineering Manager with weekly and/or daily progress.

Current Projects UL400 Smoke Rating for Intensive Care Unit (ICU) manual sliding door.
